The Newcastle Racers triumphed over the visiting Del City Eagles softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Racers play the Anadarko Warriors (Anadarko, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Newcastle will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Coweta (Coweta, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Coweta was routed by Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK), 8-2, in a non-league battle.
