The Lutheran Lions softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Fossil Ridge SaberCats to 3 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valor Christian for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. Lutheran will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Denver South (Denver, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Fossil Ridge moves to 0-3 on the season. The Sabercats host Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO) to meet the Cyclones in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Cyclones go into the test with a record of 0-1. Pueblo West lost 13-10 in their recent non-league test against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)
