In Thursday's non-league bout, the Hartshorne Miners (Hartshorne, OK) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Konawa Tigers (Konawa, OK), by a tally of 8-0.

The Miners (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, OK). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Whitesboro was routed by Stuart (Stuart, OK), 11-0, in a league contest.

The Tigers now hold a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coleman for a non-league bout on Friday, August 22. Konawa will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Kiowa (Kiowa, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
