The Porum Panthers softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Quapaw Wildcats to 2 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kiefer for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. Porum will confront a Trojans team coming off a 18-1 league win over Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Quapaw moves to 3-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK) to confront the Bears in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 8-2.
