California High School Volleyball - California School for the Deaf-Riverside Academy for Academic Excellence

In Thursday's non-league match, the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) volleyball squad overcame the host California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs (Riverside, CA), by a count of 3-1.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Barstow Aztecs (Barstow, CA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 25. Academy for Academic Excellence will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Aztecs go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA).

The Cubs now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norte Vista for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23.
