Texas High School Volleyball - Alvin can't get by Thorndale

Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Thorndale improves its record to 3-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to face the Chaparrals in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Chaparrals go into the test with a record of 12-1. Aubrey won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX)

Next, the Yellowjackets play the Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Alvin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Madison (San Antonio, TX).
