The Warriors (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, South Pontotoc notched a victory over Houston (Houston, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers battle the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Amory will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Troopers enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Mantachie (Mantachie, MS).
