In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mansfield Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Azle Hornets.
The Tigers (14-0) will now prepare for their test against Ryan (Denton, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Ryan gained a win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keller Central for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Azle will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.
