Mississippi High School Volleyball - Baldwyn can't get by North Pontotoc

North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Baldwyn Bearcats (Baldwyn, MS), 3-2 in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host South Pontotoc for a Class 4A Region 2 outing on Saturday, August 23. North Pontotoc will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Houston (Houston, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Baldwyn drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Booneville (Booneville, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 5-4.
