The Brazos Cougars volleyball squad (Wallis, TX), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX)

With the win, Columbus improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX) to face the Brahmas in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Brahmas come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. East Bernard lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Weimar (Weimar, TX)

Next, the Cougars meet the Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Brazos will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX).
