In Thursday's non-league match, the Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH) volleyball squad toppled the host Brooklyn Hurricanes (Brooklyn, OH), by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Valley Forge improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots host Shaw (East Cleveland, OH) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
