In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Campbell Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs.

The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pope (Marietta, GA). The Greyhounds come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Pope beat Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillgrove for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Kennesaw Mountain will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over New Manchester (Douglasville, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-7.
