The Capistrano Valley Cougars topped the visiting El Modena Vanguards volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cougars play the Crossroads Roadrunners (Santa Monica, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 23. Capistrano Valley will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Roadrunners come into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Wildwood (Los Angeles, CA).

With the loss, El Modena drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vanguards host Irvine (Irvine, CA) to confront the Vaqueros in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. The Vaqueros enter the game with a record of 1-4.
