In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Castle Knights.

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Damien (Honolulu, HI). The Monarchs enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Knights now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moanalua for a Oahu East outing on Tuesday, September 2. Castle will play a Menehune team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Alta (Sandy, UT). The Menehune record now stands at 2-0.
