Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The War Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Cherokee Bluff was beaten by Buford (Buford, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 26. Duluth will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 10-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA).
