In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Coronado Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Mansfield Timberview Wolves.
The Mustangs (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Granbury was beaten by Joshua (Joshua, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolves meet the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 21. Mansfield Timberview will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Liberty (Frisco, TX).
