Texas High School Volleyball - Crockett can't hold off Fort Bend Clements

In Thursday's non-league match, the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Crockett Cougars (Austin, TX), by a count of 2-1.

With the win, Fort Bend Clements improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Rangers travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to encounter the Chaparrals in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. The Chaparrals go into the battle with a record of 9-1. Aubrey lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Wimberley (Wimberley, TX)

The Cougars now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taft for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21. Crockett will battle a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Marshall (San Antonio, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 6-2.
