In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cross Stingrays volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Savannah Classical Academy Spartans.
The Stingrays (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Varsity Opponent (, ). The come into the non-league challenge with a 23-80 record. In their last challenge, Varsity Opponent was beaten by Bloomfield Christian School (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Savannah Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Atomsmashers go into the test with a 1-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Jenkins (Savannah, GA).
