In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting DeSoto Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Seguin Cougars.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Cowboys go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Coppell was defeated by Highland Park (Dallas, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Hills for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Seguin will face a Scorpions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 2-12.
