Texas High School Volleyball - Ellison Hutto

Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hippos (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Rangers enter the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Smithson Valley beat Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Ellison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Rockets go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool (San Antonio, TX).
