The MacArthur Brahmas volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Falls City Beavers to 0 in the Brahmas non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Brahmas now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Central for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. MacArthur will play a Hornets team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Falls City drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to McMullen County (Tilden, TX) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league game on Friday, August 22. The Cowboys go into the game with a record of 7-3. McMullen County won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Edison (San Antonio, TX)
