The Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Raiders now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crockett for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. Taft will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lehman (Kyle, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Fort Bend Clements drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to clash with the Chaparrals in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21.
