Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Joshua improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Canyon (Canyon, TX) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Canyon won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Midland (Midland, TX)

Next, the Panthers meet the Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Fossil Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Wylie (Abilene, TX).
