Utah High School Volleyball - Maeser Prep Academy can't get by Gunnison Valley

Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (Gunnison, UT) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gunnison Valley advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Piute (Junction, UT) to face the Thunderbirds in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Thunderbirds go into the test with a record of 0-7. Piute lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Beaver (Beaver, UT)

The Lions now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Draper APA for a 2A Region 17 challenge on Tuesday, August 26. Maeser Prep Academy will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
