Texas High School Volleyball - Smithson Valley over Hutto

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) and the visiting Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX), saw Smithson Valley's volleyball squad notch a victory over Hutto by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Smithson Valley improves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Rangers travel to Americas (El Paso, TX) to encounter the Trail Blazers in a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. The Trail Blazers go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Americas won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Connally (Waco, TX)

Next, the Hippos battle the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 22. Hutto will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Broncos enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX).
