West Virginia High School Volleyball - Parkersburg tips John Marshall

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) and the host John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), saw Parkersburg's volleyball squad nudge John Marshall by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Parkersburg improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Big Reds host Morgantown (Morgantown, WV) to meet the Mohigans in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 28. The Mohigans enter the contest with a record of 6-1.

Next, the Monarchs meet the Madonna Blue Dons (Weirton, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. John Marshall will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
