Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors (Honolulu, HI) and the visiting Waiakea Warriors (Hilo, HI), observed Kamehameha Kapalama's volleyball team top Waiakea by a count of 2-0.

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Castle (Kaneohe, HI). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Castle dropped by Lincoln (San Francisco, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hilo for a Big Island I battle on Tuesday, August 26. Waiakea will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Ka'u (Pahala, HI). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
