The Tigers now have a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Palacios for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. Malakoff will play a Sharks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Sweeny (Sweeny, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 7-1.

The (8-32) will now prepare for their game against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Fayetteville went down by Burton (Burton, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
