The Tigers (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Palestine got by Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Sharks meet the Columbia Roughnecks (West Columbia, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 22. Palacios will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Roughnecks go into the test with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX).
