Texas High School Volleyball - Walnut Grove tips Northwest

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) and the host Northwest Texans (Justin, TX), saw Walnut Grove's volleyball squad nudge Northwest by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Walnut Grove moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Boswell (Fort Worth, TX) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21. The Pioneers enter the contest with a record of 6-4. Boswell won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX)

The Texans now own a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vandegrift for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. Northwest will encounter a Vipers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX). The Vipers record now stands at 8-3.
