With the win, Shelby County improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rockets host Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 1-1. Woodford County won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Eminence (Eminence, KY)

The Rebels now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holmes for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Owen County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 25-15 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
