The Royse City Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host St. Joseph Catholic Eagles to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Humble for a non-league game on Friday, August 22. Royse City will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Heights (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Madisonville gained a win over Teague (Teague, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
