The Texas City Stingarees volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Spring Woods Tigers to 1 in the Stingarees non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Stingarees now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. Texas City will confront a Generals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northbrook (Houston, TX). The Generals record now stands at 1-8.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Heights (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Heights nudged Humble (Humble, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
