In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Tomball Memorial Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Stony Point Tigers.

The Wildcats (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes come into the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Duncanville beat Bowie (Austin, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Brock Eagles (Brock, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 22. Stony Point will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Garner (Weatherford, TX).
