Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Youngsville Academy Charter Firebirds (Youngsville, NC) and the visiting Thales Academy Rolesville Knights (Rolesville, NC), observed Youngsville Academy Charter's volleyball team top Thales Academy Rolesville by a count of 3-0.

The Firebirds (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Howard (Wilson, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Howard dropped by Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy (Halifax, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cary Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Thales Academy Rolesville will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
