West Rebels (Knoxville, TN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Rebels now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Soddy Daisy for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. West will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league win over East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.

The Patriots (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Kirkwood (Clarksville, TN). The Cobras go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Kirkwood gained a win over Sycamore (Pleasant View, TN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
