The Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) soccer bounced the visiting Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN), 8-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Lake Central moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Indians host Crown Point (Crown Point, IN) to confront the Bulldogs in a Duneland bout on Tuesday, August 23. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a record of 4-2. Crown Point won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN)
Next up, the Panthers meet the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) in a Greater South Shore battle, on Thursday, August 25. Griffith will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Munster (Munster, IN).
