Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the Boulder City Eagles (Boulder City, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 24. Moapa Valley will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV).

The Longhorns now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eldorado for a 4A South challenge on Tuesday, August 30.
