South Bend Adams Eagles (South Bend, IN) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 3. South Bend Adams will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
The Vikings now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Porte for a Duneland challenge on Wednesday, August 24. Valparaiso will confront a Slicers team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Plymouth (Plymouth, IN). The Slicers record now stands at 1-3.
