Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bucks/Gazelles confront the Douglas/Rapid City Christian Patriot Comets (Box Elder, SD) in a Class AA challenge, on Friday, August 26. Yankton will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Patriot Comets enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 6-2 league loss to Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD).

The Trojans now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sioux Falls Christian for a Class A challenge on Saturday, August 27. West Central will confront a Chargers team coming off a 1-1 non-league Huron (Huron, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 3-0.
