Illinois High School Volleyball - Whitney Young over Maine South

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL) and the host Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), saw Whitney Young's volleyball squad beat Maine South by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Whitney Young upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Dolphins travel to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Hawks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Nazareth Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, August 26.
