The Las Lomas Knights held off the visiting Pittsburg Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carondelet for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29. Las Lomas will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
The Pirates (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Albany (Albany, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Albany held off Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
