Lakeway Christian Academy Lions (Morristown, TN) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Cumberland Gap Panthers (Cumberland Gap, TN), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Concord Christian Lions (Knoxville, TN) in a D II-A East 1 challenge, on Thursday, August 24. Lakeway Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY).
The Panthers now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Greene for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. Cumberland Gap will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Buffaloes record now stands at 0-2.
