Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting University Hawks (Morgantown, WV), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a Independent challenge, on Thursday, August 24. Parkersburg South will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over South Charleston (South Charleston, WV).
The Hawks now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Linsly for a Ohio Valley Athletic Conference challenge on Thursday, August 24. University will confront a Cadets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Cadets record now stands at 1-1.
