In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Mayfield Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 8-1 triumph over the Gilmour Academy Lancers.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
The Lancers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Padua Franciscan was overwhelmed by Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
