Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC), 1-0 in a non-league test.

The Hawks now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harnett Central for a non-league test on Friday, August 25. Triton will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Midway (Dunn, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, West Johnston drops to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cleveland (Clayton, NC) to meet the Rams in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 23. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-2. Cleveland lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against West Johnston (Benson, NC)
