In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Garner Trojans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Wake Forest Cougars.
The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, South Johnston was edged by Princeton (Princeton, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
