The Hurricanes (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Havelock was dropped by East Carteret (Beaufort, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 23. New Bern will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC).
