DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lakeland Lakers (LaGrange, IN), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Barons confront the New Haven Bulldogs (New Haven, IN) in a Northeast Hoosier challenge, on Monday, August 28. DeKalb will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.

The Lakers now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Westview for a Northeast Corner challenge on Saturday, August 26. Lakeland will confront a Warriors team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Goshen (Goshen, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
