In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Tuscarawas Valley Trojans soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Minerva Lions.
The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ellet (Akron, OH). The Orangemen come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Ellet was nudged by Garfield (Akron, OH), 4-1, in a league battle.
